Early morning Lion

The mornings in Madikwe in June can be very cold…

You can see the breath of this male lion that we were lucky to spot one early morning when the air was cold and we all needed a few more hot water bottles. Needless to say you didn’t notice the cold when these guys were around…! What an amazing animal.
