Lion sighting

Ditaba, one of the two dominant males in the area…

This male and his pride were seen in the area on the morning drives by other vehicles. We went there in the afternoon to re-locate them and followed the tracks for about 30 minutes before they disappeared into some thickets. The spoor had to be followed on foot. Another 20 minutes and one mock charge by a lioness later, we sat next to the pride in an amazing sighting. Well worth the effort.
