The walkway connects all the buildings in camp, leading from the suites to the main dining room and bar, spa, boma, gym and reception. The backdrop to this raised platform has plenty of scenic lookout points to frame your perfect shot. Some sections are shrouded in greenery, making for the perfect forest escape photo. Pensively stare into the veld or get a shot of you walking from behind to capture the full effect of your surroundings.

Situated right beside the bar, the hanging chairs make the perfect setting for your “cocktail hour” shot. You’ll look cocooned and cosy in these beautiful suspended seats. We don’t know if there’s such a thing as an “Instagram Safari,” but there should be, right?

A favourite feature among guests (besides the perfectly mixed cocktails) are the lampshades, which resemble hanging baskets, as well as the rocks around which the bar is built. Every interior choice made aims to bring the outdoors inside so that the lodge does not hinder the natural beauty of the surrounding bush, but rather, enhances it.

Speaking of sunsets… When guests get back from their game drive they are taken to an area right below the main deck where fires are lit and drinks served. This pre-dinner drink setup is spectacularly beautiful. The deck runs the length of the central lodge area, and is broken up by trees on slightly different levels – another great spot for your sunset selfie.

Guests staying in Suite 6 have dibs on a very special spot for their photo safari – the outdoor bath. Pour a glass of bubbly as you soak. You’ll be amazed at how many animals wander past – the proximity can be pretty breathtaking.
