Good bye to old friends and Welcome to the new ones

After about 7 years in Madikwe of which the last one was at Madikwe Hills, Tabie has made the difficult decision to close the ranging chapter in his life and start a new one on their family farm.

Tabie, we wish you all the best for your future. May you find happiness and prosperity in your new line of work. It has been a pleasure working with you here at Madikwe Hills.

Barend du Toit is the new ranger here at Madikwe Hills who will be filling the void left by Tabie. For the past 3 weeks Barend has had the daunting task of memorizing all the roads and on the 21st of December went out on his first solo game drive with guests. If it wasn’t for breakfast and lunch times, Barend would be out there the whole day!

Another new member to the family is the new restaurant manager, Bongani Lawrence. He has spent the last few years down in the Cape. With his passion and knowledge and together with his team they are ready to take our restaurant to the next level.
