Another day at the office!

Dawn is just breaking and I hear the roar of our dominant two males… declaring our mission for the morning game drive!

I always enjoy early morning game drives a lot because Simon and I can track lions so much easier. We set out that morning to look for the two big male lions we heard calling the night before. We found fresh tracks not far from the lodge and started to follow them. It was not long before the tracks went off the road on a game path. Simon suggested we take a quick walk to see where they went, so we did. Simon saw them first like he always does and told me to stop walking towards two sleeping lions? We left them sleeping and went back to the vehicle to drive in and show our gests. Always nice to find lions on foot.
