Good day all the first blog for 2013.
I am looking forward to the blogs of this year.
Well, let’s start it off with an update on Scar nose and Pretty boy. They were released in middle December and has been doing well for themselves. We do not see much of them, because they like to roam in the South which is quite a distance from our side. However, when we do hear from them, they are on a kill. Well done boys!
Scar nose.
Pretty Boy.
We got the Lenyala male on a morning drive. What a specimen of a male lion!
We do not just stop for the big things. There are the small things as well to see, like this leopard tortoise we found next to the road.
What about the bird life? Here we got a purple roller.
A Spotted eagle owl. Just sitting and looking at us, the same way that we are looking at him.
The Pied kingfisher, hovering to catch a fish.
I shared a drinks stop with Jacques and so did a young Bull Elephant. Just look at that smile on Jacques face. What are you thinking?!
Just another day in Africa or what do I say? We got the dogs after chasing these poor water bucks into the water.
Just look at yourself! Mud here, mud there, mud everywhere! What will your mamma say about that?
And there is always one in the family, always one!
Ending this week?s blog off with a beautiful silhouette photo.
Warm Bush greeting and regards
