Madikwe Hills Community Project
The Borowick party open their hearts to Tlhageng Primary School in Molatedi Village.
It’s 05h30 on a beautiful Spring Monday morning. Coffee aroma is lingering in the Dining area of Madikwe Hills. The Borowick party – Jeff & Karen, Scot & Jodi, Andy & Cheryl, Jason & Nalatie is about to bring joy to the Tlhageng Primary School in the Molatedi Vilage just outside our Reserve. They have donated a few boxes full of Stationary, Books and Toys to the Grade 0 and Grade 1 pupils. They left the lodge with their Ranger Jacques and Tracker Samson on the open game viewer. 45 minutes later they arrived at the school. They were welcomed with open arms by the Principal Mrs Dineke Rigina. The Children could not believe their eyes. They entertained everyone with their unbelievable rhythm & musical talent – finishing off with our beautiful National Anthem Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrica meaning “GOD BLESS AFRICA”. Jeff and the team started handing out the stationary & toys to the children. What an amazing experience, everyone was filled with love and laughter. On their return to the Lodge Jeff and the team offered to also donate some paint and paint brushes to the school to give the class-rooms a bit of a face lift. THANK YOU JEFF, YOU GUYS MADE A DIFFERENCE! – Yet, another beautiful day in AFRICA!!!!
